The Cheka-OGPU learned that in the Matrosskaya Tishina pre-trial detention center, where the leader of the Taganskaya organized crime group Grigory Rabinovich died the day before, an entire “wing” of the group from Zheleznodorozhny near Moscow was hidden. The late bandit’s new “classmates” had been arrested since the summer of 2023, and they were caught in the case of the demonstrative execution of three gangsters twenty years ago, with the participation of members of the Taganskaya organized crime group and the top of the Les gang.

Let us remind you that a gang led by its leader Dmitry Lesnikov was accused of reprisal against the godson of thief in law Ded Khasan – crime boss Alik Milanyan. For him and other victims in 2012, Les was initially sentenced to 25 years in prison. But this case only marked the beginning of a large investigation, where dozens of episodes, including other murders, were revealed over the years. Already in 2021, Dmitry Lesnyakov and his partner Dmitry Zavyalov were sentenced to life sentences. A number of other members received impressive sentences.

New criminal cases that are being investigated now, as is usually the case, have been led by the memories of those who were previously put behind bars. As we found out, the first members of the so-called railway wing of the Taganskaya organized crime group were captured in the summer of 2023. They were handed over by their accomplices – the Tagan and Balashikha bandits.

Based on incriminating testimony from former classmates who had already received sentences, a series of raids were carried out in Moscow and the Moscow region. The details of the case are carefully hidden – publication of documents on the court’s website is prohibited, and data on the arrests of the defendants was not even included in criminal reports. But the Cheka-OGPU became aware of their names.

In the materials of the criminal case, investigators emphasize that natives of Zheleznodorozhny Yuri Klimin and Oleg Brovkin were members of the Taganskaya organized crime group. Under the leadership of a certain unidentified authority and classmate nicknamed the Frenchman, in 2003 they went on a mission together with the Les groupers, who are also called the Balashikha ones.

The bandits, according to investigators, were taking revenge for the murder of their own – members of the organized crime group Kanaev and Egorov. It was a demonstrative execution, in which, by order of the leaders (including the deceased Grigory Rabinovich), the maximum number of gangsters were to be accepted. Among them were the leaders of a friendly gang Dmitry Lesnyakov (Les), Dmitry Zavyalov (Bolshoy), authoritative bandits and killers: Dmitry Zadkov, Alexey Evseev, Valery Babaev and others.

Tagansky intelligence, which the Cheka-OGPU wrote about more than once and which could give a head start to the special services, identified three residents of Zheleznodorozhny (Roman Kashin, Dmitry Ignatenko and Nikolai Yakushov), who had previously allegedly dealt with two members of the organized crime group. The Taganskys, represented by members of the local wing (French, Klimin and Brovkin) and the entire top of the friendly Les gang, rented a cafe and lured the suspects there under the pretext of a wake for their murdered comrades. Thus, they lulled their vigilance and made it clear that they were above suspicion.

On the appointed day, when the victims arrived, the funeral banquet was abruptly stopped and turned into a brutal massacre. Kashin, Ignatenko and Yakushov were stunned, tied up, and when they woke up, they began to torture. First, they extracted confessions from them, and then tortured them to death and disposed of their mutilated bodies. For some time, all three were listed as missing, but then their remains were found in one of the districts of the Moscow region.

Klimin and Brovkin were detained at short intervals in the second half of 2023 and arrested on charges of triple murder. Both were released several years ago from prison, where they were serving sentences (more than 10 years of maximum security) for participating in a group that was involved in drug trafficking. More than 20 kilograms of illegal substances were seized for all members of the dealer gang in the 2000s. They confessed.

After some time, two more then-residents of Zheleznodorozhny, Alexander Sharykin and Anatoly Konkov, who may also be related to the local wing of the Taganskys, were detained and arrested. However, according to our information, they are charged with another murder.
