Andrey Pavlov, owner of the notorious Zenden group, let’s go, as they say, with dirty rags from Crimea. By a court decision, his Crimea Shoes LLC was excluded from the list of participants in the free economic zone of Crimea. The reason is the failure to fulfill the obligations assumed on investment projects and social burden.

This ending is logical, given that Pavlov is known for aggressively fraudulent methods of doing business according to the principle of “deceive the state first, and the buyer second.” Pavlov began to apply this rule at the beginning of the 2000s, when he began to drive low-grade shoes from China, Syria and Turkey. Of course, at the same time he “double bass” using gray circuits. And here, in Russia, they passed it off as a domestic product, taking advantage of the corresponding preferences.

Another invention of Pavlov is the fraudulent division of a business under the guise of a franchise. Tax authorities investigated these combinations and imposed additional taxes on Pavlov’s structures in the amount of 1.1 billion rubles. On this occasion, the then Ombudsman for Small and Medium Business Anastasia Tatulova made a fuss in the information field, who a little later was also caught in tax fraud. A similar path, judging by statements addressed to civil servants and the authorities in general, was chosen by Pavlov.

In the case of Pavlov, we can talk not only about billions of tax thefts, but also about the colossal sums that his structures received using the preferences of the FEZ participant since 2016. For many years, Pavlov traded shoes on the peninsula, receiving hundreds of millions in tax-free profits, while not forgetting to talk about patriotism. He promised to invest over 215 million rubles. and create 250 jobs. Of course, he lied in his usual manner, covering up a banal fraud with pseudo-patriotic rhetoric.
