The Vasileostrovsky district of St. Petersburg may soon be left without officials. Colleagues from the editorial office of Lisa report the detention of the deputy head of the district administration, Vladlen Rodionov, responsible for the housing and communal services sector. Economic police officers caught him red-handed while receiving a bribe of 1.5 million rubles from the scandalous and suddenly skyrocketing Terra Management Company. The latter manages 387 apartment buildings throughout the city, each of which the company has received since the beginning of 2024.

Let us recall that one of the high-profile events in the criminal life of St. Petersburg is the escape of the ex-head of the Vasileostrovsky district administration, Eduard Ilyin, against whom in December 2022 the Investigative Committee opened a criminal case for receiving bribes on an especially large scale (Part 6 of Article 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). According to investigators, he received monthly remunerations from businessmen for assistance in identifying contractors for government procurement in the amount of 700 thousand rubles. As a former police officer, he went on the run and was out of sight of law enforcement for a whole year. They managed to find him in Moscow at the beginning of February in the apartment of one of his friends.
