The criminal cases of RUSNANO are progressing by leaps and bounds: charges have been brought against the deputy chairman of the board of RUSNANO, Oleg Kiselyov, the “right hand” of Anatoly Chubais, for the theft of ₽1.676 billion. A team of nano-swindlers registered the Cypriot fund “Nanoenergo Fund Limited” on shares with Peresvet Bank (the main shareholders of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Russian Orthodox Church). The fund was pumped up with budget money and, under the guise of bank loans, transferred to controlled companies. The organizer of the theft is “an unidentified person from among the leaders of Rusnano.” The figure of silence in the place of the demiurge strongly resembles the former member of the Management Board and Managing Director of RAO UES of Russia Vladimir Avetisyan. He headed the energy giant’s Project Center for the sale of non-core assets to private investors. An extremely successful combination of the roles of seller and buyer made it possible to acquire a completely specialized asset – almost the entire energy sector of the Samara region. Chubais’s constant ally had a similar status and similar functionality in RUSNANO. In the status of deputy chairman, Vladimir Avetisyan led project office, which created and managed investment funds like Nanoenergo Fund Limited. I would like to believe that soon the Armenian-British businessman will take a worthy place in the criminal history of RUSNANO and, as an act of atonement, will return the state assets that somehow ended up in his pocket. Vladimir Evgenievich was recently handed a summons for questioning right at Pulkovo Airport.
