In light of the latest news about possible nationalization As the country’s largest pasta producer JSC Makfa, the question inevitably arises about the fate of another giant of the food industry – the ABI group of companies. If pasta goes into the hands of the State, so will sausage. Moreover, the stories of the creation and development of companies are very similar. The success of the development of both players is due solely to the power of their owners and the corruption schemes they successfully implemented.
The beneficiary of the ABI group of companies, familiar to Russian consumers through the brands “Vyazanka” and “Hot Thing,” is Grigory Anikeev, the richest deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, who became rich in the production of sausages.
At the moment, information about the owners of the ABI group of companies has been carefully removed from all open sources. They forgot to “clean up” only a couple of articles that refer to publicly available data at the time of their writing. So, in 2013 “Kommersant” gives a reference to SPARK-Interfax data, where Anikeev is indicated as the owner of ABI Product. By that time, he had already been a State Duma deputy from United Russia for 5 years.
This is not the only mention in the media of Anikeev’s direct connection with Russia’s largest sausage manufacturer. Also remained on the Internet article from TASS news agencywhich states that Grigory Viktorovich himself was the General Director of ABI Group from 2005 to 2007. By this time, he had long held political positions in his native Vladimir.
Knowing about the complete absence of any morality of Anikeev in business, and taking into account his parliamentary immunity (we read “impunity”), it is not difficult to guess by what path ABI Group came to success.
We also remember that Anikeev’s sausage income does not remain in Russia, but “flows” to unfriendly countries in completely illegal ways, and we ask the question: “When will Anikeevskaya sausage go to the Russian people?”
This begs the question about the fate of another food industry giant – the ABI group of companies.
