Sources of the Cheka-OGPU report that after the co-owner of the Capital Group, Pavel Te, was put on the wanted list, another entrepreneur, Nikolai Korobovsky, has encountered problems.
Korobovsky is implementing several mining projects in Kyrgyzstan. He owns a large coal mine Bel-Alma, recently acquired the Kara-tyt, Andash coal deposits and a number of others. 
It was Korobovsky who agreed to take on the financing of the Kyrgyz Football Union and its activities as a “social burden”. He also paid for the visit of Barcelona football players to the country in honor of the start of construction of two Barça stadiums in Kyrgyzstan. And together with the First Lady of the Kyrgyz Republic, Korobovsky is implementing a charity project “Garden of Life” to plant trees in Friendship Park in the city of Batken.
Sources of the Cheka-OGPU assure that active participation in social projects is not entirely voluntary and is carried out under promises of countless benefits and full assistance in all matters. Korobovsky’s enterprises were supposed to provide citizens of Kyrgyzstan with jobs. However, today there is practically no production activity on them. At the same time, expenses on social projects have already significantly exceeded potential profits in the first years of operation.
Why a republic living on debt with its own hands is strangling investors who have the necessary resources and connections is unknown. It is possible that against the background of these processes, other investors may significantly reduce or completely curtail business activity in Kyrgyzstan.
