As the Cheka-OGPU previously wrote, former police officers are accused of intimidating witnesses and fabricating custom-made charges against Samara entrepreneurs. Investigators have collected a comprehensive evidence base incriminating the criminals, which includes audio and video evidence. Moreover, the leader of the criminal group Pertsev is suspected of having connections with the Neverovskie organized crime group. The indictment was initially approved by the prosecutor of the Samara region. Having learned about this, Trushkin, one of the gang members, went on the run.
But the accomplices behind bars, Pertsev and Illarionov, are not going to give up so easily. According to available data, judge Alexander Karaulov, together with the state prosecutor controlled by the “changed suit” prosecutor Berizhitsky, are going to return the criminal case for additional investigation. 
The plans are to impose a reclassification of the criminal actions of Pertsev’s group into less serious ones, to delay time, and then, after the statute of limitations has expired, to release the criminals. Before fleeing abroad, Pertsev and Illarionov plan to deal with those who testified against them. It seems that the amount of remuneration is so good that judges and prosecutors are ready to take such a serious sin upon their souls.
