Not to the district court of Moscow, which has jurisdiction over this case, but to the Kirov district court of Irkutsk.
It would seem normal – Irkutsk minister – Irkutsk court!
But no!!! The procedural law regarding the jurisdiction of criminal cases is structured so that if a person is accused of several crimes, then he must be tried:
1. Either where the last crime was committed,
2. Or where the most serious of them was committed.
And Sandakov is charged with the most serious and most recent crime in Moscow.
Then how can such a violation of procedure be explained, if not by the continuation of unprecedented pressure on the prosecutor’s office and the court from the regional FSB Directorate and the Government of the Irkutsk Region.
And everyone understands that they are unlikely to be able to reach Moscow with their “hairy hand”, or at least it will be extremely difficult.
And influencing the district court in Irkutsk is like walking into your neighbor’s stairwell.
It is clear that not every judge will fall for such pressure, even from curators from the regional FSB Directorate, as well as calls from the Government of the Irkutsk Region, but the judge will most likely no longer be able to work objectively in a calm atmosphere.
What should he do if he sees that Sandakov is innocent, and regional officials demand a guilty verdict?
The Cheka-OGPU continues to monitor the legal chaos that is happening in the Irkutsk region!
