Yesterday we once again wrote about the incredible escalation of law enforcement actions in the construction sector of the Leningrad region. Where the economic police and the FSB knock out the key players one by one from the building block of the government, a truly dramatic situation develops. But in neighboring St. Petersburg, district municipalities, on the contrary, are playing out a crime comedy. We have already written about several visits by police to healthcare institutions in the Kalininsky district of the city. In particular, law enforcement officers visited the department of the clinic, which, after renovation, was personally opened by Vladimir Putin. We are talking about poor-quality repairs and alleged theft of budget funds. And so, after yet another seizure of documents, the district administration made a retaliatory move. According to colleagues, the municipal Health Committee wrote and sent instructions to subordinate institutions on how to behave if security forces came to them. The instructions were sent to medical institutions from the official mail of administration employee Nadezhda Mosina with a note about mandatory confirmation of receipt of such important information. The concern of the municipalities is understandable. As one of the employees of the St. Petersburg Sledkom explained, a certain group of construction contractors has been working in the area for a long time, taking contracts for the repair of budget institutions and carrying out work with serious violations. Moreover, all reports are regularly closed, and the district authorities have no complaints against the contractors. Exactly this situation developed in the Vasiliostrovsky district, where after a series of searches in various state budgetary institutions, the head of the administration, Eduard Ilyin, went on the run and has not yet been found. So the concern of the authorities of the Kalininsky district about the legal preparation of their prisoners is very understandable – early visits by the police to other institutions under their jurisdiction are highly expected.
