The GSU of the Investigative Committee of Moscow initially built the version that Pavlik’s guards were to blame for the incident, including an employee of the Russian Guard Dmitry Jacobson, supposedly they were the first to grab the weapon and opened fire. However, the examination showed that there were no shots from the Jacobson pistol at all. As a result, the case materials took for further investigation the already central apparatus of the TFR.
As a result, criminal cases against the special forces and guards of Pavlik were terminated with the wording “due to the lack of corpus delicti.” After that, the investigator of the Main Investigative Committee of Levon Agadzhanyan, along with a group of colleagues, wrote a dismissal report. And then he was arrested for falsification of the case. Immediately after this, the head of Agadzhanyan at the time of the events, the former deputy chief of the metropolitan GSU of the Investigative Committee in Moscow, Sergey Sinyagovsky, was deployed to the bottom. Which is not surprising from the “transfer of the case” to the fighters of the Russian Guard led precisely to Sinyagovsky. And at the end of April, Sinyagovsky showed up, telling his close acquaintances that he had decided his problems and could “exhale”. Indeed, after interrogation in the TFR, he was released.
The source believes that after the sentence to the guards of Makhachkala, the situation for Sinyagovsky may change.
