Businessman Albert Avdolyan decided to resell the port of Vera to the Bashkir investor. Their past transaction on Sibantracite brought the businessman money, and the buyer is assets with serious debts. The correspondent of The Moscow Post understood the plot.
The owners of Sibkapapital LLC, which until 2024 was the Bashkir industrial holding, and the Poton holding are going to buy from Albert Avdolyan a coal port Vera, used to transship raw materials to the Asian market. The transaction is prepared in nature – earlier the investor has already bought the Sibantracite Holding from Avdolyan, which is the largest manufacturer metallurgical coal in Russia.
The European market in the spring of 2022 was closed for Russian coal miners, so they need an infrastructure aimed at Asia, which the Bashkir investor, in stages, is redeemed from Avdolyan. Sibantracite sells part of the products through Taman, but Vera to China and India is much closer from the port.

However, there is a nuance: the margin of coal business is falling, and the co -owners of the Poton holding took 350 billion rubles even to buy Sibantracite. Surely, it will not do without borrowed money in this deal, so only Avdolyan remains “in chocolate”.
“Sibantracite” with debts
The history of Sibantracite, which Avdolyana acquired in 2021 from the heirs of Dmitry Bosov for $ 1 billion, is a characteristic businessman. The owner of the structure was then Siban Holding, which belonged to Avdolyan (70%) and Maxim Barsky (30%), and the transaction itself was carried out through the Cyprus Offshore.
A year later, the conjuncture changed and Avdolyan decided to throw off the asset to new investors who want to engage in coal prey, and not financial fraud. The buyer was found, but the bad luck – Sibantracite was sold with very large debts.
In the spring of 2024, two claims were filed in the arbitration court against one of the structures of Sibantracite in the amount of 4.349 billion rubles. The disputes are about contracts of the contract, which were signed in December 2022, that is, at the time of possession of the holding Avdolyan. The essence of the matter is that Sibantracite had to make a payment for the supply of equipment, but suddenly his owner changed and The money did not come.
The company Tapp Group has been outraged by this and has since achieved justice in court, because it has not received money for expensive equipment purchased in China. Contractors wrote a collective appeal to the FAS and the Ministry of Industry and Trade, but Avdolyan was not in business. The businessman honestly sold everything and received the money due to him.
Debts and withdrawal of funds
The second episode is associated with the withdrawal of funds from coal companies owned by Avdolyan. In 2020, the entrepreneur, not without the help of the head of Rostec, Sergei Chemezov bought from the “Mechel” Elgagull LLC, which is developing the Elginsky deposit. In 2022 and 2023, Elgagulle LLC paid 4 billion rubles of compensation for the company LLC “UK” Elgagulle “and this transactions between structures are not limited.

Offshore companies like “Sanomil Ko -Limited” are widely present in the entrepreneur’s schemes, even if the scale of their use has declined slightly.
The withdrawal of funds was also recorded at the “Hydrometallurgical Plant” (GMZ), which Avdolyan allegedly lifted from the ruins. From 2018 to 2022, the entrepreneur owned in addition to the enterprise itself the structures associated with them – CJSC South Energy Company (YUEK) and LLC Intermix Met, from which he transferred liquid property to new legal entities, and old organizations Technically left with debts.
However, the new structures of Avdolyan do not lag behind – the successor to the GMZ enterprise “Almaz Fertilizer” managed to quickly accumulate 0.5 billion rubles debts.
Schemes, taxes and offshore
Tax and financial schematosis is a stable part of the Avdolyna business – there are many companies, transfer of funds and other actions in its transactions that may be interesting to the Federal Tax Service, or even other departments. In the spring, the A-Poperaty Invest company has changed the owner with the Cyprus company Polocom Holdings Limited for Peter Avdolyana and began to be called LLC “Peter Invest”.
This story happened after the “A-Operates Invest” in 2022 was brought to tax liability for underestimating the amount of VAT and other offenses in the “construction” of the coal terminal on the Far Eastern Cape Verel.
There were no workers and equipment at the construction site, but the contractor received $ 20 million from the Kaiman Islands for his needs, which was transferred by the REECO Capital LP. In addition to the story with the port and offshore money in the portfolio of “A-Prophet Invest” for 2020, there are 3.3 billion rubles of loans, whose fate remains unknown.
Friends of Avdolyan
Avdolyan also has authoritative relatives – the son of businessman Gaspar Avdolyan in 2017 married Lolita Osmanova – daughter Eldar Osmanov. The businessman was connected with this person through such a scandal as the bankruptcy of Intraregionsoyuzenergo. In 2018, Osmanov became a defendant in criminal cases under Part 4 of Art. 159 of the Criminal Code (fraud), and then put on the wanted list.
Such a truly brilliant biography does not interfere with Avdolyan in business-offshores, transfers of money, buying the sale of assets, in an incomprehensible way generated debts. The dexterity of hands and no fraud, there are no complaints about Avdolyan, despite episodes.
The reasons for success, it seems, is personal: Avdolyan was born in the Krasnodar Territory, but Irkutsk should be considered his small homeland, where he met the head of Rostec Sergey Chemezov.
