While the Central Bank is fighting cryptocurrency, it has not only won the minds and wallets of citizens, but is also being considered by the courts. In bankruptcy cases, managers look for electronic wallets and request information about their availability from their wards. Traces of one of these requests led us to members of the gang of Aslan Gagiev (Dzhako).

The bankruptcy of the assistant to the first vice-rector for academic affairs of the Russian Humanitarian University, Alexey Ryabtsev, is very instructive. Well-known lawyer Konstantin Skrypnik presented him with a debt of 40 million, lawyer and former FSB officer Gagoev – 25 million rubles. During the bankruptcy process (the Supreme Court overturned the decision to complete it), both waived the debt, but criminal case No. 12002450023000121 remained in the proceedings of the Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia in Moscow. Ryabtsev is a cryptocurrency swindler specializing in international SEPA and SWIFT transfers.

Gagoev received two years in prison in September 2019 and has been free for a long time. He admitted to fraud of 2 billion rubles and went to a special order, entered into an agreement with the investigation under the supervision of the first deputy prosecutor of the South-East Administrative District of Moscow and turned everyone in. Fable of the case – with his accomplices, he conducted 2 fictitious transactions for the purchase and sale of premises (3 thousand sq m of the 3rd floor) of the shopping center “Gallery Aquarius” (Domodedovo). Victims – LLC “Yurga Ltd.” This was helped by the decision of the Gudermes Court (case No. 2-770/16), which terminated the right of ownership in the name of the Russian Federation. It was in Chechnya that Moscow operatives detained Gagoev, almost encountering armed resistance.
This fall, Gagoev may regain his status as a lawyer.
