Flooding continues: there are victims
In addition to the two sunken ships, on the winter, the lifting of Lena’s shore remained the Tanker “Mechanic Vinokurov”, as well as a few barges. And they are located near the village of Zhigigansk, 760 km from Yakutsk.
Earlier, rescuers intended to re -explode the Vilyui River to free it from the ice, but the curtain is downstream from the mouth of the March River near the island of Sata. Because of this, the water level in the Vilyui River rises. And it is dangerous to flood the city of Nurba and the village of Antonovka.
Today, crazy water has already reached the village of Zharkhan: seven households are flooded. In the risk zone – a rural school and a kindergarten. It reports about it “Ribbon”.
The flood has already claimed the lives of 2 people.

Because of this court, the Lensky United River Shipping Company began to be brought to the shore. And in the end, the metal body of tugboats could not stand the onslaught: holes were formed in them, the vessels went to the bottom.

The emergency occurred at 837 km of the river.
A rescue group of 10 people flew to the place of emergency. And it is already likely that due to the collapse of the vessels there was a spill of oil products.
The crews took measures to pump oil products.
Constant environmental monitoring is underway on the site of drowned ships, and welding work is underway at the Tuggage “Mikhail Kurchatov”.
The head of Yakutia, Aisen Nikolaev instructed to conduct an official audit, figure out in detail the situation. And punish the guilty.
To date, as a result of the spring floods, more than 55 km of roads in the territory of the Olekminsky, Nyurbinsky, Namsky, Megino-Kangalassian, Mountain and Ust-Aldansky districts have been eroded and flooding.
On the territory of the Ust-Aldansky district, 6 municipal roads were blocked. In the mountainous area, as a result, in 7 areas, the municipal highway Orto-Surt-Kepin is blurred.
The Ministry of Transport and Road Facilities of Yakutia reports the allocation of 100 million rubles to restore municipal roads from the republic’s road fund.
The Ministry of Emergencies of Yakutia at the end of April warned that the flood would be strong. And more than 100 settlements can suffer from floods. And in the end, on May 20, a decree was signed on the announcement of the regional level emergency regime.
