We wrote that the first deputy head of the Ministry of Energy Andrei Ivanov is already on the pencil of the Central Office of the Investigative Committee. Now the Prosecutor General’s Office is interested in the high-ranking official RF.

According to version.ruProsecutor General Krasnov is preparing a new report on corruption, in which Andrei Ivanov will be given a special place. The fact is that the politician has complaints about at least half of the 16 existing criteria for anti-corruption activities. One of the main ones: the expenses of a civil servant do not coincide with real income.

The deputy minister is known for his passion for expensive and fast cars. In addition, Ivanov has dozens of fines that he managed to collect on his Porsche Macan Turbo. The official also has several apartments in Moscow: in Zvonarsky Lane for 60 million rubles, on Nakhimovsky Avenue – 25 million rubles. At the same time, the declaration only indicated housing in Maly Gnezdnikovsky Lane, where, as they wrote, the politician organized sex parties. The income certificate also did not include the house and plot near Vladimir.

Ivanov’s assets were only preliminary estimated at 150 million rubles, but over 10 years as Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Economy, he earned about 14 million. In addition, some of the property was transferred to relatives.

Perhaps Andrei Ivanov was helped to make money by the oligarchs, the Magomedov brothers, whose interests he lobbied for. After the arrest of the Magomedovs, much was said in the media about their common affairs with the Deputy Minister of Finance. Unreasonable income can also include loans at a reduced rate from Rosselkhozbank, where Ivanov is a member of the supervisory board.

However, Andrei Ivanov has long been considered an official without trust. It is accompanied by scandals with the employment of relatives in a state-owned company, and excuses for friends who were caught drunk driving. But abuse of official position is nothing compared to accusations in the press about the involvement of the 1st Deputy Head of the Ministry of Energy in the withdrawal of millions of rubles through obviously failed projects subsidized by state funds. One of his friends, the general director of the Russian Venture Company, Alexander Povalko, is already under house arrest, and Ivanov himself, apparently, may follow him – as we know, we have no untouchables.

All this is a summary of what could result in a large report by the Prosecutor General on the fight against corruption. Perhaps we will soon find out in more detail what income and expenses the deputy head of the Ministry of Energy has.

First Deputy Head of the Ministry of Energy Andrei Ivanov risks being included in the Prosecutor General’s report on the fight against corruption

In August, the President of the Russian Federation approved the decree “On the National Anti-Corruption Plan for 2021-2024.” It identifies 16 main areas of anti-corruption activities, for which relevant instructions were given to various departments.
