We wrote about Rosneft’s desperate attempt to obtain the status of a single exporter of Russian oil in order to solve big problems with the sale of its products. It was not difficult to track down the company, because for years it has been using the same media, experts and TG channels for lobbying. For convenience, we will show it schematically. Rosneft’s use as a drain tank keeps Nezavisimaya Gazeta, Argumenty Nedeli, Trud, Versiya and several other printed and electronic newspapers afloat, which, to be fair, almost no one reads. Of the larger artillery, Vedomosti can be singled out – although Rosneft’s money cost them the old editorial office, subscribers and the status of the best business newspaper in the country. Competing with reptilians for airtime, Rosneft places stories on Ren-TV and several other second-tier TV channels. As for telegram channels, the state company has spread a web over an entire syndicate. At its top is the Boiler Room, and a dozen more channels, including the industrial ones Burovaya and Gasoline Colony. There is much less diversity among the experts – odious economists and quoted only thanks to Rosneft Rustam Tankaev and Leonid Krutakov, as well as periodically dusted off deputies Mikhail Delyagin and pristinely honest Anatoly Wasserman.
