It is his department that conducts unscheduled inspections when renewing security licenses, and also checks the storage conditions of service weapons. It would seem like a necessary and good thing. But there is an important nuance – from the moment Bereket was appointed head of the relevant department, the vast majority of such inspections ended in the refusal to renew the license and the confiscation of service weapons, which (especially important!) automatically resulted in the termination of contracts for the security of government institutions (schools, hospitals, clinics, etc.) for the private security companies inspected. etc.) It is to security companies that have government contracts that the utmost attention of Bereket and his right hand Alexander Chizh, who performs all orders from your boss. Why is this so? It’s simple – government contracts for security are steadily incoming budget money, in total for St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region – many billions of rubles. After the private security company’s license is not renewed, the government contract is automatically terminated, and security firms friendly to Bereket and Chizh are installed at the facility, paying them substantial kickbacks. We talked with some managers of private security companies that lost their licenses and found out that the main reason for revoking the license was the alleged non-compliance with certain standards for the technical strength of weapons storage rooms (although certificates of compliance of these rooms were previously issued to them by the Russian Guard itself). According to the businessmen, after the license was revoked, Alexander Chizh personally and persistently suggested that they contact Garant Service Plus LLC, which would allegedly make the storage rooms “meet the requirements.” It is clear that the price of such a solution was more than respectable and much higher than the market average. Yes, this is already a double profit in business: first, businessmen are deprived of their license, giving orders to their own, then they are forced to pay their own for “correcting the shortcomings.”

In order to get away from the strong influx of complaints from the security business, Bereket and Chizh moved to other positions, but continue their activities in the person of Alexey Kuznetsov, who was loyal to them. By the way, Chizh now heads the direction of control over weapons stores and shooting ranges. The capabilities of this organized crime group in the form of the Russian Guard have increased even more – now they confiscate hundreds of weapons and tens of thousands of cartridges from legal entities, which leads to the closure of stores and shooting ranges that do not agree to pay tribute to corrupt officials!
