Following the announcement of the rally in the steppe lake (Kuchukusfata Monogorod), the residents of the district center notified the local authorities about the conduct of a similar rally, but already in the Annunciation (OJSC “KuchukShufat” is located on the territory of the Blagoveshchensk district of the Altai Territory). Now the events look like this: December 15 in the Arbitration Court of the Altai Territory will be held Listing on the claim of the General Prosecutor’s Office to the shareholders of KuchukShufat; The next day, an action will be held in the steppe lake, to which residents invited shareholders to hear from the first lips the news on how to live on (2500 people plan to exit), and on December 17 the rally will be held in the district center. The declared number of participants is 1250 people. Both rallies will be held in compliance with all anti -icing measures.

The first paragraph of the notification of the rally in Blagoveshchensk says: people are going to the square to express public opinion about disagreement with ongoing administrative pressure, the attempt of the raider seizure of KuchukShufat OJSC, the actions of which have already led to a deterioration in production indicators and, as a result, a deterioration in socially -economic situation of plant workers and residents of the entire district. These are not empty words and not loud statements, but obvious facts.

“KuchukShufat” is the largest taxpayer of the district. The indicators of the enterprise are falling (due to constant pressure, the largest foreign brand counterparties, such as Henkel, Unilever and Procter & Gamble, reduce the volume of procurement), the standard of living in the entire area falls. Tax deductions have already been reduced by 75 million, next year the figure can increase to 90 million.

But before the pressure on the factory, the Blagoveshchensky district was one of the few non -subsidiaries in the Altai Territory. But in 2017, the enterprises collapsed on incessant inspections, by the way, they did not reveal anything. In parallel, shareholders through threats and intimidation forced to sell shares – also to no avail. Local residents consider the lawsuit the General Prosecutor’s Office by a continuation of pressure on Kuchukushufat, and lawyers see a lot of inconsistencies.

Firstly, the statute of limitations – the enterprise was privatized through a lease with the right to buy off 30 years ago. Secondly, the choice of defendants – in 1992, the enterprise privatized the working team, and the current owners bought stocks in the secondary free market after 8 years. Thirdly, according to the plaintiffs, the state did not know 30 years ago that the enterprise would privatize, although the procedure took place in full accordance with the legislation of that time.

If the prosecutor’s claim is satisfied, then we can question the privatization of much larger and larger enterprises in the country, which passed into private hands in the same way as the Altai producer of sodium sulfate. However, for some reason, only the Kuchukskhufat turned out to be under pressure from the federal security forces.

Experts also see in the situation around the plant an alarming signal for the entire business of the country. Such a precedent can harm the entire investment climate of Russia – after all, the existence of a successful enterprise is threatened.
