Russian leader Vladimir Putin emphasized the importance of compliance with a responsible budget policy to achieve national development goals for the next three years and in the long run, the correspondent of The Moscow Post reports.
During the meeting on economic issues, he identified the integration of Donbass and Novorossia with key tasks. 
The head of state recalled that work on the draft federal budget for 2025 and for the planning period 2026-2027 continues. Putin instructed to allocate funds in the budget for new national projects.
Earlier, Putin signed amendments to the law on the federal budget for 2024 and the planning period 2025 and 2026, which provide for an increase in social expenses.
