At first glance, the connection of Prime Minister Mishustin with a candidate for the post of Minister of Transport Savelyev is not obvious. But if you compare the biographies, then there is a common one, and their common acquaintances claim that they are even friends of families. The acquaintance began at the time when Mishustin was headed by the Federal Agency for Managing Special Economic Zones (2006 – 2008, the mayors subordinated), Saveliev at that time worked as deputy mayors of German Gref (2004 – 2007).
After the transition of Savelyev to the AFC system and further appointment to the post of head of Aeroflot, and Mishustin to the post of head of the Federal Tax Service, communication continued and even switched to a new, more confidential level.
