Apparently the other players were so shocked by what was happening that they didn’t even try to take the throne right away. Of course, the security forces even came to search Goloshchapov, whose figure was considered absolutely untouchable for about twenty years, even in his Moscow apartment. Apparently everything that was connected with him still falls under some kind of black mark and it is not yet safe to touch it even with a heavy hand in St. Petersburg. And so, in the absence of the great ones on the horizon, something happened that would have been impossible to imagine just recently! Colleagues noticed how a substantial purchase, even for the St. Petersburg Vodokanal of a billion and a quarter, easily went not to the spheres of the great Putin’s world, but to a company associated with the manager of the State Unitary Enterprise. Just the head of the territorial water supply department, Sergei Yeskin. One can imagine the amazed expression on Konstantin Goloshchapov’s face when he read such news. The question “who is this anyway” would be more than understandable. And, nevertheless, this is a new reality – a holy place is never empty, and in Russian conditions the possessions of the escaped dukes are easily acquired by the chamberlains and grooms.
