Last year, despite the many famous problems generated by the epidemic, was quite successful for the region. If you like, Krasnoyarsk has become a good news supplier. In the north, new oil and coal deposits are actively mastered, infrastructure construction continues, for the first time in many years a surplus budget has been adopted, the region took fifth place in the RAEX regulatory ranking for 2020, ahead of the Sverdlovsk Region and Tatarstan. Not every governor was able to please the federal center with such achievements.
If we talk about politics, then all the ratings in the region are stable, the parliament is more than loyal to USSU, the municipalities are reduced to the vertical. In the Duma elections in the districts, only those candidates whom the governor agrees will be able to win.
So the USS really sits tightly in his chair.
The ill -wishers who want to substantiate the supposedly inevitable replacement of the governor remains to refer to the age of the USS – 66 years and, as a result, to his somewhat “incompetent”. It is difficult to comment, given that, for example, S. Sobyanin and R. Minnikhanov, deservedly recognized as the most effective governors, is also not a young man. Who will risk reproaching them for “incompetent”? At the same time, how many different “young talents” over the years flashed and disappeared.
Also, UPS persistently charges conflicts with those present in the region of the FIG. And who is meant? Obviously not Rosneft, whose project “East Oil” is supported in the region at the legislative level. And not the “pole” and “Northern Star”, which recently concluded partnership agreements with the region. And not Russian Railways, not Rosatom, not Rostec.
The conflict arose with only one FPG. With Norkel. In short, last year in Norilsk there was a leak of diesel fuel, this is one of the largest accidents in the history of the development of the North. The fault of Norilsk Nickel is obvious what the federal leadership has repeatedly stated. It is clear that the corporation does not want to bear all the liability in solitude, I want to share it with someone. Here Norilsk Nickel himself began the conflict, trying to prove to someone that he is not one source of all problems in the region.
The SAS intends to work until 2023, then the deadline for which it is elected will end. I will not undertake to predict what will happen later. When he was appointed acting governor, they immediately launched rumors that someone else would go to the polls. Then they predicted the replacement immediately after the Universiade-2019. Etc. One of the most stubborn “predictors” is now in the Krasnoyarsk pre -trial detention center. Of course, no one wants the same fate to others. It’s just that they should think that there is a risk of catching a cold at the next Usovsky inauguration.
