The organizers of the raider attack on the country’s leading agrochemical holding JSC Shchelkovo Agrokhim have had their arrest extended.

On January 10, the court left Elmira Iraidova, the former commercial director of the enterprise, under house arrest. On January 11, the detention in a pre-trial detention center for Ural swindler Eduard Fedosov was extended. In making their decisions, the courts declared that there was sufficient evidence of their involvement in the crimes they were charged with and pointed out that both Fedosov and Iraidova were accused of especially serious criminal offenses, for which only actual prison sentences were provided.

It is becoming increasingly clear that the initiators of the seizure of Shchelkovo Agrokhim assets continue to confidently move toward landing.

Just yesterday, the Arbitration Court of the Moscow District (cassation instance) refused to consider Nathan Viner and Elmira Iraidova’s complaint in which they insisted on canceling the court ruling recognizing the sale and purchase transaction of 31% of the shares of Shchelkovo Agrokhim as illegal. Previously, the court recognized that Iraidova and the former chief accountant of the holding Lyudmila Prikhodko made an imaginary transaction to combine 11% and 20% of the shares into a blocking stake, respectively, with the aim of selling it to a third party, bypassing the preemptive right of other owners of the enterprise.

The loss in cassation actually thwarted the raiders’ plan to seize Shchelkovo Agrokhim and made further attempts by the fixers brought in by Fedosov and Iraidova, like oligarch Vladimir Palikhata and others like him, pointless. @banksta
