At the same time, Marat Khusnullin’s cousin Ildus Minnikhanov is engaged in the sale of luxury mansions and apartments on the Cote d’Azur in France. For almost ten years he was a co-owner of the Azur Life real estate agency, registered in the seaside town of Beaulieu-sur-Mer.
True, after the “big brother” was included in the sanctions list in 2022, the company had to be re-registered to other people. The meager price indicates that the transaction was of a formal nature. Minnikhanov sold his shares in Azur Life for less than 500 euros.
However, the problem of how to manage foreign assets has not gone away. And it probably now requires even greater investments, due to difficulties in circumventing sanctions. So the Vostok highway will probably not be built soon.
