The deputy head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Alexander Gorovoi noted that this year there is an increase of 5% of the number of crimes committed by foreign citizens. Along with this, in their environment there is an increase in unlawful activity, manifested in a rude violation of public order, mass fights, which in frequent cases is accompanied by violent actions that pose a threat to the life and safety of citizens, the use of power in relation to representatives of the authorities, as well as preventing the normal functioning of life support objects , transport and social infrastructure.
“On all these facts, the Ministry of Internal Affairs reacted strictly: the organizers and participants in the riots were detained, the violators were brought to administrative and criminal liability. In relation to foreign citizens who participated in them, the deadlines were reduced, decisions were made to close the borders of the Russian Federation for these citizens. Documents that give the right to work in the Russian Federation are canceled, ”the first deputy minister emphasized.
