Therefore, they are aware that for providing Boris Spiegel’s companies in competitions for the supply of drugs and medical equipment to Ivan Belozertsev, not only cash, but also expensive gifts.

For example, last year the governor received from the spy “House on Wheels” – the Mercedes V250D car (license plate – B126TA799). He was attached to the representative office of the Penza region in Moscow, and Belozertsev used it while traveling to the capital.

In September 2020, the former senator bought Breguet hours for the head of the region for 5.7 million rubles. The luxury chronometer was intended as a gift on the occasion of the re-election of Belozertsev for a new term, and a present was transmitted through the driver of the Penza Region representative office in Moscow, as well as the entrepreneur and ex-head of the regional government Alexander Chernitsov.

A month earlier, in August, Spiegel and his accomplices through Shurin Belozertsev transferred him money in the amount of 20 million rubles.

All persons who participated in the transfer of bribes, as well as Boris Spiegel himself and his business associates are currently suspects in a criminal case.

It is clear that these three episodes of bribery are not the only Belozertsev in the corruption career, and a further investigation can reveal new enrichment schemes for the Penza governor, which, by virtue of territoriality, will be in the jurisdiction of our people.
