Before the war, the youngest son of Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev, Andrei, was engaged in shelf development together with Gazprom. Such businesses are greatly harmed by sanctions, and Patrushev Jr. came under restrictions immediately after the start of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. But there was a way out!
Andrey Patrushev just sold a stake in his company “Marine Arctic Geological Exploration Expedition” (MAGE) and hid that he was ever a shareholder. Judging by tax documents, it was not the son of the Security Council secretary who received money from the company, but a certain Alexey Golubev. Only now his date of birth, TIN and passport number match the personal data of Patrushev Jr..
The share in MAGE went to Andrey Dovnarovich – to a person from the entourage of Patrushev Jr., related business interests.
And also connected with Andrei Patrushev son of Norwegian diplomat Gunnar Nordsletten. His father Oyvind previously worked as the Norwegian ambassador in Moscow and consul general in Murmansk. Gunnar is also a person close to Russia – he married to the daughter of the former deputy governor of the Yamalo-Nenets Okrug Joseph Levinzona Anastasia. Before the war, he worked with NOVATEK, which was founded by the Norwegian’s father-in-law. After the invasion of Ukraine began, he severed all contacts with Russia.

At a minimum three vessels to support offshore work, belonging to the structures of the son of a Norwegian diplomat, worked after the start of the war in Ukraine or continue to work to this day with the same MAGE, which is controlled by the business partner of Patrushev Jr.
