Three defendants in the case of theft in the Lenenergo company during the construction of power lines in St. Petersburg will appear before the Kuibyshevsky District Court, they are accused of fraud and laundering over 165 million rubles. Among them is the company’s deputy director, Alexey Goryachev, who was close to the current head of Rosseti, Andrey Ryumin.

In addition to Alexey Goryachev, the defendants in the case are the deputy chief engineer of JSC Lenenergospetsremont, a subsidiary of PJSC Lenenergo, Ivan Karpovich and the deputy head of the company NT-Kom Engineering LLC, Evgeniy Osipov.

With the departure of ex-senator Alexander Sabadash to a colony following a court verdict and the dismissal of Andrei Srochinsky (general director of JSC Lenenergo until 2015), who masterfully placed 13 billion rubles in the Tavrichesky Bank (after which the bank collapsed and the money disappeared), “ Lenenergo did not take a long break from reputable business and crime. With the arrival of Andrei Ryumin, it was expected that such things would end, but it turned out that everything only got worse. Alexey Goryachiy was appointed as Ryumin’s advisor. His services were appreciated by law enforcement agencies in two criminal cases (theft on contracts from Lenenergo). Despite the fact that Goryachev had been under investigation for two years, he continued to be listed as Deputy General Director of PJSC Rosseti Lenenergo for construction. In the meantime, he is dealing with the stolen money and investigators, his functions are performed by Vitaly Bulatov, who already has a CONVICTION FOR THEFT, but which Lenenergo management, including the security service, is tactfully keeping silent about.
Ryumin, knowing about Bulatov’s past, appointed him in May 2020 to act as chief of construction simultaneously with combining the post of director of the DSO (Directorate of Facilities under Construction, where, according to the investigation, Goryachev stole the money).
