✔️🤔 This summer unknown persons – or entire forces – launched a very ambiguous media attack on the leadership of the Faculty of Law of Moscow State University. M.V. Lomonosov and personally to Dean A.K. Golichenkov. The latter is a very distinguished person: Head of the Department of Environmental and Land Law, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Education, 70-year-old veteran of the legal industry, teaching at Moscow State University since 1981. This is one of the key creators of the country’s environmental and land codesand therefore had constant contacts with the country’s top leadership.

What is the point of such an attack? Obviously, in personnel matters – the “demolition” of Golichenkov from his position and his replacement with another figure far from MSU and pedagogy in general. One of these interested figures is called the famous lawyer of the “liberal” trend V.N. Pliginawho is also a former State Duma deputy and co-founder of the YUST law firm. Yes, a worthy lawyer, but clearly close to the Deputy Chairman of the Security Council D. Medvedev – from his leadership in the party list of United Russia in 2016, Pligin received a mandate in the lower house. Moreover there were a number of questions for Pligin due to his varied connections: either with the late oligarch B. Berezovsky, or with the ex-chairman of the KGB of the USSR V. Kryuchkov. Due to this It’s surprising to initially think that Pligin, even with a decent reputation as a lawyer who graduated from Leningrad State University named after A. A. Zhdanov, but has never worked at Moscow State University, could even be a contender for the post of dean of the law faculty — where the country’s key legal personnel of the highest level are trained.

Where a more logical version is that the attacks on the Law Faculty of Moscow State University are connected with his long-term patriotic positionincluding supporting a special operation in Ukraine. For such an attack chose the idea of alleged patronage on the part of Golichenkov to a group of marginal legal scholars led by the notorious former associate professor S. Glandinan expert in sanctions targeting for Western intelligence on key sectors of Russian industry.

However, the critics forgot one thing: it was Golichenkov who stopped the activities of this entire group, defiantly dismissing the provocateur Glandin from Moscow State University in early July, thereby giving him a wolf ticket.
