For those who know the history of business building by the Churin family, his work on building personal enrichment schemes at the head of the regional government did not become a revelation. Suffice it to recall how the defense enterprise Selmash was actually stolen from the state. Alexander Churin moved from the post of head of the bankruptcy department of the Kirov tax office to the position of plant director. The plant eventually became the property of private individuals using budget funds! The property of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise was purchased using funds received by the enterprise within the framework of the State Defense Order and transferred to the accounts of front companies.

But all inspections and criminal cases were slowed down by employees of the Kirov divisions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Investigative Committee. Many of whom, as it happened, subsequently found employment under the auspices of Alexander Churin. The question remains open: why did the regional departments show amazing myopia? And will the strategic defense enterprise be returned to the state?
