Ilnaz Galyaviev began to shoot at the school building before the entrance. The children sitting in the lessons in the gymnasium thought that something exploded on the street. After the shots, the school employee Mullanur Mustafin went out into the street – the first Galyaviev wounded him. The watchman who was sitting on the ground floor hid under the table. The former student with a gun passed by her. 
Galyaviev went to the first floor and opened random shooting. After that, the school leadership in the chat began to write to teachers so that they closed in the classroom with students. The elementary school teacher Venus Aizatov came to the noise – she had no students at that moment. Galyaliev mortally wounded a woman.
Then the shooter began to walk around the school. He climbed the second, third floor. Most of the offices were closed, but the 8 “A” door turned out to be open – Galyaviev went there. The office of the teacher of the English Elvira Ignatieva was also open or the shooter was able to knock out the door. The woman died. According to eyewitnesses, the first police officers appeared at the school 5-7 minutes after the start of shooting. After that, the shooter left the gymnasium and surrendered to the operatives.
