The Zamoskvoretsky Court of Moscow sentenced businessman Vasily Sholokhov, who was a participant in an operational experiment to detain investigator of the 12th department of the Main Investigation Department of the Main Investigation Department of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for Moscow, Alexander Artemyev. Immediately after Artemyev’s arrest, his immediate supervisor, the head of the Main Directorate of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for Moscow, Natalya Agafyeva, was asked to resign. However, as a result, the entrepreneur received more than the bribe-taking investigator.

Sholokhov is a shareholder of Progress Holding CJSC. The 12th department of the Investigative Committee of the Main Investigative Directorate of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation for the city of Moscow opened an obviously fabricated case of fraud. Soon, Sholokhov was contacted by a familiar actor, Dmitry Yartsev, who suggested solving the problem through investigator Artemyev. Sholokhov wrote a statement and Artemyev was detained. During the investigation, it was established that Artemyev has cash in the amount of at least $5 million, a house in Miami and 5 apartments in Moscow. Later, the court sentenced him to five years in prison for taking a bribe.

After Artemyev’s arrest, the most interesting things began. First, his immediate supervisor, the head of the Main Directorate of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for Moscow, Natalya Agafyeva, was asked to resign. She, like Artemyev’s other patrons, did not forgive Sholokhov for what happened. Soon he himself was detained and, by a court decision, sent into custody as part of a case that was in the Main Investigation Department. A source from the Cheka-OGPU then said that Agafyeva, even after losing her position, kept the situation with Sholokhov under personal control. Fortunately, the leadership of the Main Directorate of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for Moscow was full of her henchmen. Moreover, it is known that Agafyeva had a personal meeting with the chairman of the Tver Court on this issue.

And now Sholokhov’s case has reached a verdict. He was tried together with another accused, Romanov.
As a result, Sholokhov was sentenced to 6 years in prison (they were given a year more than the investigator), and his “accomplice” Romanov was released with a suspended sentence.

A good lesson for all those who next time dare to write a statement against a corrupt investigator or security officer.
