The wonderful city of Vsevolozhsk in the Leningrad region, the capital of its richest region. On October 5, the Vsevolozhsk City Court was supposed to consider the issue of reinstating the former deputy chief of police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Vsevolozhsk region, Colonel Sergei Nikolaevich Serebryakov. However, an amazing thing is that the court hearing was postponed due to… the failure of the prosecutor to appear.

We can safely assume that recently the almost completely changed composition of the Vsevolozhsk prosecutor’s office is not very happy about the prospect of seeing Serebryakov in police uniform in the city again.

Let’s tell you why. On December 25 at 08:15 in the morning, 38-year-old Serebryakov was detained by a traffic police squad while driving a BMW X6 in a state of significant alcohol intoxication. Erebryakov was fired from the authorities with the wording – for an act discrediting honor and dignity. But not everything is so simple in Vsevolozhsk.

During his service, Serebryakov became close friends with the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Anatoly Iogan, who, in turn, is a close friend, comrade-in-arms and fellow countryman of Police Major General Dmitry Baranov, deputy chief of the police Main Directorate for St. Petersburg and Leningrad Region. So, Serebryakov and Johann together had a total shadow income of astronomical amounts. Things were going so well that in just a couple of years of work (Iogan was appointed to the position of head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in June 2019), these two friends bought land plots next to each other in the fabulously expensive Vsevolozhsk region and became neighbors.

And here is the story of Serebryakov’s dismissal – accordingly, the deprivation of the hand that feeds Johann (he himself, as you know, does not take bribes with his own hands and carries out all shady deals exclusively through his deputies). So Iogan, through his friend Baranov, decided to help Serebryakov be reinstated in his position with the subsequent cancellation of all previously drawn up protocols. There were appeals against the protocols, and at meetings the traffic police officers unanimously began to change their testimony.

Everything would have gone smoothly – even on the eve of the final meeting of the Vsevolozhsk City Court, Serebryakov told his friends that “everything was decided” for him. And here – the demarche of the prosecutor’s office. We buy popcorn and wait for the continuation of this Vsevolozhsk police farce.
