The war on the territory of Ukraine in Russia is taking on increasingly bizarre forms. As the Cheka-OGPU learned, the son of an employee of the FSB of the Russian Federation was detained for a series of acts of sabotage as a protest against the war (arson of relay cabinets). The leadership of both the FSB of the Russian Federation and the Investigative Committee thought for a long time about how to deal with such a situation and the young man was simply removed from the case so that there would be no scandal. Now the relatives of the other accused are demanding justice from the head of the FSB, Bortnikov, and the head of the Investigative Committee, Bastrykin: either everyone is brought to justice, or everyone is set free.

According to the materials that were at the disposal of the Cheka-OGPU, in a criminal case under Art. 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (terrorism) in Bashkiria (for setting fire to relay cabinets on the railway), from the very beginning the son of the detective officer of the Federal Security Service of Russia for the Republic of Bashkiria E.V. Kolpakov was a suspect. – Kolpakov I.E. Searches were carried out at his place and bank cards of one of the participants in the arson were discovered. However, the investigator initially chose a preventive measure for him in the form of a written undertaking not to leave the place, and the rest of the accused were sent into custody.

Subsequently, Kolpakov had the status of a suspect until July 2023. Now the case is at the stage of familiarization with other participants. But Kolpakov was not finally charged, and criminal prosecution against him was stopped. Lawyers and parents of other defendants are now demanding justice.
