Topic of the week – a large-scale expert discussion in the information field of an urgent political decision to involve representatives of the security bloc – employees of special services and law enforcement agencies – in the SVO.
The director of the Center for Political Science, political scientist Alexey Mukhin, believes that “the Russian security class must prove its support for the North Military District on the front line, not in word, but in deed. It is possible to turn the tide of a front-line operation only when the Northern Military District becomes “people’s”, when the whole country and representatives of various social groups and classes unite into a single “Russian Army”.
Let me remind you that “at the very top, a decision is being discussed or a decision has already been made regarding their participation in the SVO. Why shouldn’t law enforcement officers (2.5 million people) help the army exactly at the moment when volunteer detachments of workers and collective farmers are being formed in every region of the country?”
“VChK-OGPU” talks about mistakes, domitted by the FSB and intelligence when planning the Northern Military District in the Kiev direction, and comes to the conclusion that “the leading intelligence service of our country must go through a rather painful and tough process of cleansing its own ranks, without hiding behind the backs of conscripts and volunteers at the most dramatic moment in the development of modern Russian history.”
“Cauldron #6” suggests that the reluctance of security forces who have “skill, military training, uniforms, money and weapons” to participate in the SVO could lead to a repetition of the final of the second Chechen campaign, which “ended with Khasavyurt and the forced endgame of Alexander Lebed with Shamil Basayev. Which of the security forces will go with the SBU to play chess?”
“Something like this” cites as an example to all security forces Yevgeny Prigozhin, who is at the front, who “sends a message to employees of other security departments who cannot “tear their pink ass off the soft chair”, do not stand to the death for the Motherland with weapons in their hands and are not yet in the Donbass, where volunteers are flocking to “reinforce” the Russian Armed Forces.”
SEMPER IRATUS draws attention to the excessive number of security forces who took part in the detention of Yevgeny Roizman, and wonders: “is there really no opportunity (or political will?) to support our Armed Forces with at least a limited contingent of “security officials” who, in groups of 30 people, go to arrests of politicians? If it’s true that prisoners from Russian colonies went to the front line to atone for their guilt, then isn’t it time for the employees of the Federal Penitentiary Service and other special forces of law enforcement agencies to go to the front line right after them?”
“Dressed neatly. Black Beard” reminds that “there are also veterans of law enforcement agencies who have been transferred to the reserve; the active reserve of the special services numbers up to 150 thousand people. Finally, they have relatives raised in the traditions of military brotherhood and military glory – at least 200 thousand more people. The security forces could become the driving force of the North Military District, leading volunteer squads from all over the country by their own example. And on the agenda of the patriotic forces of Russia, this scenario is not only becoming more and more popular, but is already developing into a call.”
Obviously, the socio-political discussion, which brought the topic of sending security forces to the front to the top of the agenda, is preparing public opinion for political decisions that can adjust the special operation scenario.
