The third most important person in Austrian intelligence was involved in wirecard fraud

So far in Russia, the security forces disperse peaceful demonstrations, their Austrian colleagues are busy with the disappearance of two billion euros from the financial studies of WireCard. The main suspect is considered the chief operating director of the company Jan Marslek, who disappeared from the investigation and, as earlier told The Dossier Center, presumably, is located in Russia under the protection of GRU.

A few days ago, the Austrian intelligence services detained the former deputy of the parliament from the ultra -right Party of FPö Thomas Schellenbacher. He, in turn, testified to the ex-head of operations of the Federal Department of Protection of the Constitution and the fight against terrorism Martin Weiss, who has been cooperating with Wirecard since 2018 and has been in Russia repeatedly. Both are suspected of organizing the Enterprise of Marsealek to Belarus, and Vaisa also in the fact that, using his official position, he helped WireCard to check for the solvency of the porn sites served by the company. According to the “dossier”, new accusations may appear in their affairs.

Recall, on June 18, 2020, after a long scandal, Jan Marslek was fired from WireCard. According to the “dossier”, the next day he flew out by a private plane to Belarus from a small Austrian airport, possibly bribing a border control officer. The pilots who carried out the flight were also detained and testified on Schellbacher and Weiss.

People whom the investigation consider the accomplices of Marsealek are very interesting characters. Before his resignation in 2018, Weiss was the third largest person in Austrian intelligence. And the entrepreneur and engineer Thomas Schellbacher is closely connected with the Ukrainian oligarch Igor Kolomoisky. According to Dossier, in 2008 the Austrian visited Ukraine, where he met the business partner of Kolomoisky Igor Palitsa. Friendship ensued between them, and Schellbacher began to help Palice and his friends receive a residence permit in Austria. So, Palitsa himself and his closest assistant Viktor Babushchak were registered in the Austrian House of Shellenbacher, and the Ukrainian billionaire Arthur Abdinov registered in his parents’ house. Subsequently, the cooperation of Ukrainian entrepreneurs and Austrian Schellebacher expanded – they began to conduct a joint business and buy real estate in Europe (in particular, hotels, night clubs and a brothel).

In 2013, before the parliamentary elections, Schellebacher took ninth place in the List of the Ultra Party FPö. Initially, he did not go to the parliament, but by a happy chance for him, three candidates who were ahead of him abandoned his place, as a result of which Schellebacher still became a deputy. He rarely appeared at a new job, but he headed the parliamentary society of the Austrian-Ukrainian friendship. Subsequently, court documents were published, which claimed that Ukrainian businessmen-including oligarch Igor Kolomoisky, his business partner Igor Palitsa and the son of the then Minister of Justice, Maxim Lavrinovich, paid for the place of Schellbacher in parliament.

The Dossier Center continues to monitor the investigation of the case by Jan Marslekle.
