The Supreme Court put an end to the bankruptcy case of the PSK Remput group. Our channel has at its disposal a copy of the Supreme Court ruling dated July 25, 2022, in which the former general director and ultimate beneficiary of Remputi/Inzhputstroy Anton Mikhalkov was denied consideration of the cassation in the case of bringing him to subsidiary liability in the cases of the companies he brought to bankruptcy. The Supreme Court of the Russian Federation agreed with the conclusions of lower authorities, which recognized the leading role and control on the part of Mikhalkov in the withdrawal of funds from Inzhputstroy (the main contractor of Remput) to shell companies in the absence of real economic activity of the companies controlled by him.

Now Mikhalkov and his accomplices face a painful and inevitable process of collecting the property seized from them into bankruptcy estate with further sale at auction. We are talking, among other things, about a 10% stake in Rosvodokanal JSC, owned by Mikhalkov’s wife, as well as a fleet of luxury cars, including Mikhalkov’s rare Jaguar ’67.

A separate storyline should be the trial of the process of fictitious division of property between the Mikhalkov spouses, as a result of which Mikhalkov’s wife received shares of Rosvodokanal and an elite car, and Mikhalkov himself received the right to claim against bankrupt companies. A special role here belongs to Mikhalkov’s lawyer, Mr. Krasnoshtanov, who knew about the existence of an encumbrance on his client’s assets, but as part of the process for dividing the property of the spouses in the Izmailovsky Court of Moscow, he kept silent about this circumstance. If there is intent and selfish interests in this process, lawyer Mikhalkov may also have problems with the law.
