Therefore, now all efforts on the part of lawyers (and also, they say, employees of the prosecutor’s office) are focused precisely on preparing for the trial. The commissioner will no longer be able to refuse to execute the court decision.

The good news is that the statement of claim of both Subbotin and Goncharenko (the fate of the remaining statements is being clarified) was accepted by the court for consideration. It will be interesting to know whether the case of I. Popov, the nephew of Moscow prosecutor Denis Popov, will go to trial, or whether the parties have reached an amicable agreement.
