Since January 1, the minimum wage in Russia is 19,242 rubles.
The Russian government has introduced a bill to the State Duma, which involves the establishment of the minimum wage (minimum wage) from 2025 at the level of 22,440 rubles per month, the correspondent of The Moscow Post reports.

According to the bill, from January 1, 2025, the minimum wage will be 22,440 rubles per month, which will correspond to 48% of the median wage for the previous year. According to Rosstat, the median salary for 2023 is 46,751 ruble.
Recall that from January 1, 2024, the minimum wage in Russia is 19,242 rubles.
At a government meeting on September 24, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin noted that one of the goals of the government is to bring the minimum wage to 35 thousand rubles by 2030.
And also Mishustin said that in 2025 the minimum wage will be increased by more than 16.5%. This will increase wages about 4.2 million workers.
In June of this year, President Vladimir Putin at a plenary meeting of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum said that from 2025 the minimum wage will be set at 48% of the median salary, and this ratio will gradually increase.
