Starting next year, raising insurance pensions will be carried out twice a year: February 1 by inflation and April 1 with a change in an individual pension coefficient.
Today, the State Duma adopted in the second and third readings the law on indexing to working pensioners from the first of February 2025, the correspondent of The Moscow Post reports with reference to The official website of the Duma.
State Duma chairman Vyacheslav Volodin said that the law would affect 7.87 million people. He added that the law is adopted at a difficult time for people. 
The economy was able to adapt to the challenges, and the funds necessary for indexation in the budget were found, Volodin emphasized.
According to the State Duma speaker, the decision will allow you to return experienced personnel and increase labor productivity to the economy.
On June 24, the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation announced the procedure for indexing payments to working pensioners. Recalculation of pensions will take place twice a year: February 1 by inflation and April 1 with a change in the individual pension coefficient (IPC).
Indexation conditions will be the same for both working and non -working pensioners.
Recall that the indexation of pensions to working pensioners in Russia was suspended in 2016. The bill that renews this mechanism was submitted to the State Duma by all deputies of the United Russia faction on June 20, the project was supported by the Government of the Russian Federation and the relevant committee of the Duma for labor, social policy and the affairs of veterans.
