The Spanish court freed four defendants in the case of the Russian Mafia, including lawyer Alexei Shirokov. As a preventive measure, four suspects were banned from leaving the territory of Spain and seized passports. Most of the defendants never testified to the judge, although they are still under investigation. In December 2020, the Spanish police conducted a large -scale operation against representatives of the Russian Mafia in Alikant, Madrid, Tarragon and Ibiza, who was engaged in laundering money and other crimes. This turned out to be only the tip of the iceberg. In the course of work in the field of view of the police, several “thieves in the law” came in, which carried out gatherings in Alikant, Ibitsa and Marbella. So, the police “sprinkled” the frequent visits to Spain of the “legislator” of Vasily Khristoforov (Vasya resurrected). The most interesting thing is that he has been in Spain many times in order to meet with Anton Zings Zings, the son of Boris Zings, who was previously close to Dmitry Medvedev with his brother Mikhail. The materials of the Spanish case indicate that Anton maintained commercial relations with Khristoforov and two defendants in the case. In turn, the main person involved in the investigation of the “Russian Mafia” Mikhail Danilov (disappeared, put on the wanted list) constantly communicated with the former Minister of Sports of the Russian Federation Boris Ivanyuzhnikov (in the case file was called a member of the Podolsk organized crime group) and the owner of Styness, Maxim Lalakin, the son of the leader of the Podolsk Sergey Lalakin (Luchok).
