The company has repeatedly come to the attention of law enforcement and supervisory authorities for violations of the law in the implementation of waste disposal standards for manufacturers and importers of goods within the framework of the so-called extended responsibility of producers and importers (EPR).
As previously reported, back in 2022, inspectors received evidence confirming that ORIS PROM LLC overestimated the volumes of waste that count toward the EPR, including through the disposal of electronics allegedly recovered from accepted scrap metal. At the same time, during inspections at the production facilities and offices of ORIS PROM LLC, fires began to break out repeatedly, in which all documents and information about the implementation of the EPR were burned, which may indicate that they were organized by the recycler himself in order to conceal the facts of violations.
This audit, organized in connection with numerous requests about the activities of ORIS PROM LLC from law enforcement agencies, may reveal new facts of fraudulent schemes of the recycler, which offers manufacturers and importers any prices for its services to comply with recycling standards, allowing manufacturers and importers to evade paying environmental collection
Large manufacturers and importers, such as Vitek Rus LLC, Kanevskoy ZGA LLC, Pirelli, Kitfort, Cordiant, Top-Import LLC, Tatshin, Thermal Equipment and many others, who complied with recycling standards by concluding agreements with LLC ” ORIS PROM”, if Rosprirodnadzor detects violations in terms of overestimation of waste volumes by the recycler to offset the EPR, a fine in the amount of 3 times the environmental fee may be imposed.
