The Russian Boxing Federation, together with the Boxing Progress Center, loudly announced that it is holding the largest charity New Year tree called the Christmas Tale of the Russian Boxing Federation. It takes place at the Russky Park Hotel and at the expense of the park hotel.

The secret owner of the facility, President of the International Boxing Association Umar Kremlev, addressed the guests of the Christmas tree. What he forgot to say was that the park hotel was previously called Drakino and belonged to Alexander Shestun. The object was seized from him as part of a criminal case and presented to the Kremlin.

The Shestun case involves the Drakino Park tourist complex, worth 1.5 billion rubles.

This complex, seized in favor of the state, attracted many glances – after all, one of the best tourist sites in the Moscow region.

The Federal Property Management Agency promised to sell the park at auction, with the maximum possible profit for the budget.

But unexpectedly, on June 29, 2021, the Federal Property Management Agency transferred Drakino Park, as well as the nearby beach and a number of land plots to the ANO Boxing Progress Center of Umar Kremlev, without bidding.

The decision to abandon the auction was justified by the fact that the Kremlin would use the property for non-profit social activities.

However, as the prosecutor’s investigation showed, just two weeks later the Center for Boxing Progress subleased Drakino Park to the limited liability companies Gastrodom and Olympiets, and now the usual commercial work of restaurants and hotels is going on there. To cover it all up, they decided to hold a charity Christmas tree, and more money was spent on PR for the event than the event itself cost.

What happened so clearly reveals a scheme for cleverly obtaining federal property to the detriment of the budget and bypassing the mandatory requirement for bidding that it is unlikely that anyone other than the Kremlin could get away with it.

Against this background, the statements submitted to the police by the previous tenants of the park about the theft by Kremlin of their furniture and equipment worth more than 50 million rubles, and the fact that “to complement” the park, Kremlin received the city hotel “Ikar”, worth 73 million, for free, look like a mere trifle . rubles, formally for the same development of boxing.
