In the Nikulinsky District Court, hearings began on the lawsuit of the Prosecutor General’s Office to individuals and legal entities related to the construction of the port terminal near St. Petersburg. The supervisory authority wants to confiscate assets for 33 billion rubles, which are controlled by the family of the former head of the FSO Evgeny Murov and the ex-head of the Federal Security Service of St. Petersburg and the region of Nikolai Nekodov. According to the GP of the Russian Federation, funds stolen by Baltstra (Dmitry Mikhalchenko and Co.) were launched to create these assets during the reconstruction of the president’s residence in Novo-Ogarsky and other facilities.
The supervisory authority at the hearing is represented by the “star” of the Prosecutor General’s Office, General Sergei Bochkarev, who achieved the seizure in favor of the state of the property of Colonel Zakharchenko. He arrived at the hearing, accompanied by so many guards that one of the first persons seemed to be in court.
The lawyers of the defendants filed several petitions to change the jurisdiction and send the case for consideration to St. Petersburg. They were refused. Then they petitioned the suspension of the case in the port before the final decision in the military court in the case of embezzlement of funds allocated to Novo-Ogarsevo. Refusal again. Then lawyers petitioned for unlocking the port’s operating account. The judge requested the documents confirming and substantial expenses. And then it turned out that the GP of the Russian Federation prepared weighty volumes with additional materials. Lawyers asked for a month. They were given less indivisible. The next meeting will be held on May 18.
