On behalf of the Prosecutor General of Russia Igor Krasnov, in order to ensure the interests of bona fide entrepreneurs and employees of organizations whose leaders announced the suspension of activities in the Russian Federation, prosecutors have strengthened supervision over the compliance of such companies with current legislation.
Prosecutors have established strict control over compliance with labor legislation, including the terms of employment contracts, the procedure for paying wages and determining their size, the fulfillment of undertaken obligations to contractors, as well as obligations to the Russian Federation.
Igor Krasnov separately pointed out the inadmissibility of unilateral refusal of their obligations by organizations that announced the suspension of activities on the territory of the Russian Federation. Prosecutors will harshly suppress such facts.
The attention of supervision is focused on the inadmissibility of abuses associated with limiting the supply of products of a narrow product segment. Each fact of termination of activity will be given a legal assessment for the presence of signs of fictitious and (or) deliberate bankruptcy, liability for which is provided for by the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
