The Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation, on the basis of the European Convention on mutual legal assistance in criminal cases dated 04/20/1959 and additional protocols for it from August 27 to September 28, 2020, four requests for legal assistance on the verification material carried out by the investigative bodies of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs on the fact of hospitalization from the Tomsk-Mosquito flight were sent to the Federal Department of Justice of the Federal Republic of Germany. Navalny A.A.

Currently, materials sent by the Ministry of Justice of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation in response to these requests are considered.

In Russian requests, requests for more than 15 procedural actions were set out, of which, based on the content of materials, only two were actually executed: Polls of Navalny and his wife were conducted. They are uninformative and do not contain answers to the questions posed.

The requests for the interrogation of the attending doctors Navalny A.A. were not satisfied, it was refused to provide copies of medical documents, medical history, copies of forensic medical examinations, toxicological and other laboratory tests. It was denied the provision of biomaterials Navalny A.A. For comparative studies.

According to the materials provided, the German side conducted a toxicological study of objects-bottles, on which traces of the nerve-paralytic poisonous substances “Novice” were allegedly discovered. At the same time, the German side did not provide any specific conclusions based on the results of the examinations, offering to believe everything for a word. Including did not report information about the experts conducting the study, refused their survey.

In addition, a survey of the singers M. is refused, since its address is allegedly unknown in the territory of Germany. At the same time, based on the numerous data published on social networks, including on the day of the departure of Navalny from Germany to Russia, M. Sevichi was among the persons escorting him.

Among other things, a request was not executed on the provision of information regarding the email address from which reports of mining of social infrastructure facilities in Omsk were sent.

All of the above suggests that Germany approached the execution of Russian requests formally, in fact, without providing anything that could shed light on the situation with the alleged poisoning. This sees the direct intention of foreign colleagues to hide the true circumstances of what happened in order to continue unfounded accusations against the Russian side.
