The other day, the son of the head of the administration of the Lomonosov district of the Leningrad region, Alexei Kondrashov, 21-year-old Nikita Kondrashov, was arrested. The story smells very bad – the guy was detained and placed in the Kresty pre-trial detention center in a case of telephone fraud with bank cards, which already involves at least one defrauded pensioner.
Kondrashov Sr. himself, as the Cheka-OGPU has already noted, is a dark horse. During the time of Valentina Matvienko’s governorship of St. Petersburg, he was considered close to her team and headed the administration of a couple of city districts, then left to rule Lomonosovsky. Then, for almost a year, he managed to serve as vice-governor for internal policy of the Leningrad region – by the way, the second position in the region after the governor, but Kondrashov did not work well with Alexander Drozdenko and returned back to the region.
They say that the apple never travels far from the tree, and in this case, the saying fits. If Nikita Kondrashov got involved in a dirty story of deceiving older people, then his father, as we have already written, is not above making money on kickbacks from the funeral mafia, which makes money from relatives of the deceased from the most vulnerable segments of the population. At the same time, the shadow funeral business in the area is not only covered by the administration, but also strengthens its position.
We show the scheme using only one example – Kondrashov, being the head of the administration of the Lomonosov district, led an active struggle for the transfer of municipal cemeteries to the jurisdiction of his administration. The official position was “establishing order in the cemetery sector,” but in reality, the task was to give all popular cemeteries into the hands of his bandit accomplice, director of Iriy LLC Roman Ikizli. Thus, as part of the “reform”, in 2021 the district administration began checking the use of land at the cemetery of the Gorbunkovsky settlement. The commission discovered more than 200 burials on agricultural lands (burials are prohibited) outside the boundaries of the cemetery and significant violations of the sanitary protection zone. After such a defeat, the cemetery was transferred to the jurisdiction of the district and, of course, immediately fell into the hands of the Iriy company.
The year 2023 ends and..? But at the cemetery, absolutely nothing has changed – just as they buried the dead in ordinary arable land near the stream, they continue to bury them. But Kondrashov no longer had any complaints about this graveyard. Well, prices for burials, as we have already written, have skyrocketed – in some cases up to 160 thousand rubles. At the same time, the unprincipled brothers from “Iria” do not show leniency either to pensioners or to the relatives of those killed in a special operation.
The local Investigative Committee and the police continue to be inactive – the next inspection ended happily with a generous handout from Ikizli, who feeds all the regional security forces and, of course, did not result in a criminal case.
