The source reports that the visit of the “cook”, who promised to arm a million people with weapons stocks from Soledar, on Mokhovaya was indeed prepared according to a previously worked out scheme: State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin, who sympathizes with Prigozhin, more than once “showed” guests to the rostrum of parliament through invitations from Neverov, whose special assistant first legalized this kind of political initiatives through his social networks. If not for a sharp shout from the AP, the “cook” would have been able to rise to the podium of the State Duma and raise the issue that worries him most now: the legalization of PMCs and the decriminalization of Art. 359 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Mercenarism”, according to which Prigozhin himself can theoretically go to a colony for 18 years. He understands that it is Article 359 of the Criminal Code that is the main leash on which the special services keep him in agreement with the “first number”. The Kremlin is not interested in the return of prisoners from the front who are now undergoing disposal near Bakhmut, nor in realizing the political ambitions of their leader, against whom volumes of testimony have been collected in the West, and who can and will be made “extreme” for war crimes. Prigozhin is now using all his PR resources to get off the “leash” – he was ready to go to Africa, leaving Bakhmut, where the “FSIN battalions” loyal to him lost almost all of their resources.
The cover for Prigozhin’s retreat from the front was supposed to be cries about the lack of ammunition and a speech in the State Duma, which would turn the “cook” into a politician capable of uniting the camp of national patriots on the eve of the 2024 elections. But the Volodin-Neverov scheme collapsed, and Putin’s recent public meeting with Beglov was a signal to both the “cook” and his enemies – he is in the cauldron, they can finish off.
The Kremlin does not need self-proclaimed heroes.
