Almost two thirds of Russian young families – 64% – enough money only for food and clothes, they cannot provide long -term goods. This follows from the Rosstat survey on the level of household assessment of his financial condition for the second quarter of 2020.
Compared to the same period last year, the financial situation of young families (the age of the spouses is from 18 to 25 years) worsened significantly. In the second quarter of 2019, this category of households was the most prosperous: more than half of them (50.3%) stated that they had enough funds for something other than food and clothing. A year later, young families were the least wealthy.
After them, non-working pensioners feel the worst of all-62.4% of them cannot afford to buy something other than clothes and food.
