The name of a Moscow businessman who got into a gay extortion scandal following his visit to a forum in Vladivostok has become known. As colleagues from local channels have already written, what first came to light was the very fact of the detention in Moscow of a young gay man from the Primorsky Territory, who had arrived on a date with his lover. The “Doves” met in the capital of the Far East. But when the youngest of the partners arrived to the elder in the capital, something went wrong. As a result, Svyatoslav (that is the name of the prostitute; Far Eastern telegrammers found his profile on a specific website) began to demand money from the 60-year-old capital entrepreneur. By comparing the dates from the police report and the list of participants in the Forum on the Development of Small Towns that took place in Vladivostok these days, we can come to an unambiguous conclusion – with the highest probability, Svyatoslav’s client was Alexey Shevtsov, indicated on the forum website as a participant in the panel discussion “The Soul of a Small Town. Place, where culture, art and the creative economy meet.” Shevtsov himself is a fairly well-known figure in narrow circles, an Orenburg oilman who has been doing business in Moscow since the 90s, and during the presidency of Dmitry Medvedev, he headed the administration of that same Ples in the Ivanovo region. Of all the participants named on the event website, he is the only one who matches both his patronymic (Vladislavovich) and age (60 years), with the previously published data of the victim of a gay extortionist.
