The Moscow City Court upheld the extension of the arrest of the “authoritative” chansonnier Dmitry (Don) Polyakov for three months. For more than two and a half years, he was wanted in the case of the abduction of the Ukrainian “authority” in Moscow Yuri Vasilenko, the organizer of the elimination of ex-deputy of the State Duma Denis Voronenkov in Kyiv. The Don accomplices by the participants of the Kursk organized crime group Alexander Zikeev (seven years), Alexander Soshnikov (Sokhayaty, 10 years old) and Denis Dolsokov (7 years old) were already sentenced to the accomplices of the Don. The four of them, including Polyakov, attacked Vasilenko near the Moscow restaurant Baselik, shot their legs, pushed into a jeep and took them in an unknown direction. Then Soshnikov landed the accomplices and one took away the bleeding and screaming with the pain of Vasilenko. Nobody saw Vasilenko again. According to operational information, the body of Vasilenko Sokhaty fed the pigs.

Polyakov himself insisted that all these two years he lived calmly in the Imoskov region with his family and did not hide. There is no testimony of his involvement in the crime.
In the case there is no motive for a crime, like a corpse. He took the team to abduct Vasilenko, exported the body of a seasoned criminal Soshnikov.
